this heart was created with the help of michal blazek, a czech painter who assisted with the initial construction. we spent a week camping in the station and creating work. at the end, the heart was exhibited in a small, grimy room there. at some point there were many plans for this heart. it was intended to travel on the metro and be the protagonist of a short film, but that never happened. now, it sits in my studio, covered in white, looking like a big potato wearing a hat. i've tried to burn it, but can't bring myself to do it. maybe one day i'll make the short.
