playtime
this latest series is still a work in progress. sets of 3 images question the spaces cities allot for children, the confusion of childhood, the disconnect between internal and external worlds. a visual language exists within me where ladders become spines, blotches on the street are brains and snow covered drains form rib cages. i've photographed empty playgrounds everywhere i've been in the past 7 years. recently, i’ve begun to document what happens to dolls when they’re no longer needed. and i’ve started hanging hearts from trees.
