3 steps to change
1.) recognize that you are bound by something. 2.) do everything possible to free yourself from it. 3.) take a rest before returning to step 1. before creating this series, i had a dream that very clearly revealed these three steps. whether it's a belief that's binding you, or an abuser, it is up to you to recognize that you are bound. even then, it takes time and internal strength before action can be taken to change the situation. it's a scary thing to do. but it is necessary if you want to allow yourself to feel true, clean happiness. this series represents a breakthrough in both my personal life and in my life as a photographer. it was the first time i created something to photograph. i would like to thank my friend beccie for lying in the dirt.
